Watch Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker Cover Queens of the Stone Age
Kirin J. Callinan and Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt also Help Cover "I Sat By the Ocean"

Mark Ronson
Mark Ronson took part in the “Like A Version” series for Australia’s Triple J radio station yesterday, where they have artists do exclusive cover songs live on the radio. To cover Queens of the Stone Age’s “I Sat By the Ocean” he brought along some special guests, including Kevin Parker from Tame Impala (who sings on Ronson’s hit fourth album, Uptown Special), Miike Snow frontman Andrew Wyatt (who sang lead vocals on the cover), and Kirin J. Callinan. The band (sans Andrew Wyatt) then did Uptown Special track “Daffodils,” with Parker on lead vocals as he is on the album version.
Check out the two videos below, followed by Queen of the Stone Age’s original version of “I Sat By the Ocean.” Tame Impala’s Currents is also out now and don’t forget to pick up Under the Radar’s current print issue to read our exclusive cover story on the band.
