Supporting their latest album Synthetica, Metric have premiered a road-diary music video for their latest single “Breathing Underwater.” Showcasing lots of live footage, behind-the-scenes down time, and a lot of sweaty festivals filled with fans, you start to feel a little exhausted yourself when you realize just how hard these guys work to put on a show day after day.
In addition to the video, which you can click below to watch, Metric has announced the release of Synthetica Deluxe. Available digitally Nov. 20 and physically Dec. 4 this revamped version of the album will feature five extra songs including acoustic renditions of the record’s title track, “Breathing Underwater,” “Youth Without Youth,” and “Gimme Sympathy” from the band previous LP Fantasies. Also included will be a cover of Tom Waits’ “Strange Weather.” You can listen to the acoustic version of “Breathing Underwater” beneath the video.
