Mew
Danish outfit Mew have premiered a brand new music video featuring “Water Slides,” the latest single from the band’s forthcoming LP +-. Directed by Anders Malmberg, the visual depicts a group of alien-like individuals gathering together for some unknown purpose. “We feel his interpretation carries with it the same sense of foreboding we sensed in the song,” says Mew’s Jonas Bjerre. “It’s a mystery of sorts—we are presented with a feeling that something is wrong, but we can’t know what it is, and an almost pleasurable giving in, to impending disaster.” Click below to watch. +- comes out April 28.
