Last night at Los Angeles’ Largo venue an interesting all-star band performed. Neil Finn of Crowded House was joined by his son Liam Finn, along with Mac DeMarco (so I guess he definitely wasn’t at the Met Gala after all), Kirin J Callinan, Weyes Blood (aka Natalie Mering), and Connan Mockasin. Then comedian/actor Mike Myers joined the band to perform “BBC,” a song from his 1997 movie Austin Powers. Myers didn’t wear the outfit or wig of his ‘60s superspy, but had the same voice. Watch two videos of the performance below, plus the original video for the song (and Myers as Powers performing it on the 1997 MTV Music Awards. Myers has been working on getting a fourth Austin Powers movie off the ground for years.
