New Album Strangers to Ourselves Out March 3

Modest Mouse have premiered a brand new music video for “Coyotes,” the latest track from their forthcoming LP Strangers to Ourselves. According to Interstate-8, who premiered the clip, the video’s inspiration comes from a report of a real life coyote that rode Portland’s MAX light rail train back in 2002 (the same coyote also inspired the Sleater-Kinney track, “Light Rail Coyote”). I was excited for the new album after first hearing Lampshades, but this new one is even better and March 3rd can’t come soon enough.

3/3/15 is marked on my calendar as “D-day” - I’m THAT excited for this album after the wait!! Lampshades on Fire is my favorite so far so definitely check it out if you haven’t already!
