Satan's Work in the Suburbs

The Mountain Goats
The music video for The Mountain Goats’ Transcendental Youth single “Cry for Judas” has an amalgamation of parts. There’s a mouse running through a maze, a bit of father-son bonding, and teenage sex. Whatever it’s trying to say, things come to a serious head when you start involving Satan, murder and pregnancy. Needless to say this one needs multiple views. Transcendental Youth is out now.

Love the new Mountain Goats album, especially this song. Only wish I could’ve seen them live. I recently found out they’re also judging the http://www.unsignedonly.com music competition. So cool that in addition to all this, they would take time to hear up and coming musicians. The $10,000 prize doesn’t sound so bad either :)
