Watch: My Morning Jacket “Holding On To Black Metal”
A Bar Experience Gone Psychedelic
Aug 02, 2011
My Morning Jacket
My Morning Jacket have released a video for single “Holdin On To Black Metal,” which is taken from their sixth album, Circuital, released May 31 via ATO. The video features footage of the band setting up at a bar. Meanwhile, a man walks in and encounters a mystical bar tender who serves him green booze. A magic token turns up and he turns on the MMJ psychedelic experience by inserting it into a machine (also appearing out of nowhere.) The band all develops laser eyes and dance robotically and then the video turns into concert footage. The video flashes back to the bar-goer and it turns into a half animated adventure. Watch the clip below to feel the full effect of a video only MMJ would come up with.
