Neon Indian (aka Alan Palomo) released his excellent new album, VEGA INTL. Night School, last October via Mom + Pop. It was #20 on our Top 100 albums of 2015 list. Now the album’s single “Annie” has a video. It was seemingly shot on VHS and has a late-‘80s/early-‘90s vibe and appears to take place in 1993. In it Palomo is searching for his kidnapped girlfriend Annie, who is played by Leanne Macomber of Young Ejecta. The video includes two interludes, one where Palomo is questioned by the police and another where he appears on a local talk show. It’s an incredibly fun and creative video.
