Music Complete Out Now via Mute

La Roux
Last September New Order released Music Complete, their excellent first studio album in a decade, their first for their new label Mute, and the first not to feature founding member Peter Hook (but it saw the return of founding member Gillian Gilbert). And then this past May the Manchester band released a new version of the album, Complete Music, that included extended versions of each song on Music Complete. Now they have shared a video for Music Complete‘s “People on the High Line,” a song that features the guest vocals of La Roux. Jackson Ducasse directed the clip, which features breakdancers Hakim Saber and Stella McGowan (aka B-Girl Lyra). Watch it below.
On October 21 the song will also be released on a “People on the High Line” 7-inch shaped picture disc. It includes Richard X’s radio mix and an exclusive mix from Claptone. The band recently launched a beer, Stray Dog, in collaboration with the Lancashire independent brewers Moorhouse. It’s a draught golden ale that’s currently only available in the U.K. There are plans to launch Stray Dog in bottles later in the year.
