Watch: New “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Trailer Featuring Original Cast Members
Highly Anticipated Sequel Due Out December 18
Apr 16, 2015 Movie Trailers
Hoping to wash away the bad aftertaste left by George Lucas’ poorly received Star Wars prequels, director J.J. Abrams will take us back to that far, far away galaxy on December 18, when Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens.
A sequel to 1983’s Return of the Jedi, the movie is set around 30 years later and brings back all the major cast from the original trilogy (including Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker), as well as new cast members John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, Pip Anderson, Christina Chong and Miltos Yerolemou.
Mid-December is a long, long way away, but a new teaser trailer for The Force Awakens has been released today. You will hear the voice of one original cast member and see at least one other one. Check it out below.
