Recently releasing his twelve album Lousy With Svlvianbriar musical reinventionist Kevin Barnes and his band of Montreal have premiered a new music video for record’s opening track and single “Fugitive Air.” Directed by Barnes’ wife Nina, the visual features a number of posed, mixed-media shots that see Barnes painted in tie-dye and singing in front of a colorful screen projection, but it also makes use of a lot more intimate, home-video style footage, providing an interesting glimpse in the weird, and clearly loving relationship Barnes has with his better half. The awkward thing is that the woman he’s cavorting with in the video isn’t his wife.
