Jul 06, 2016 Okkervil River By Christopher Roberts

Okkervil River are releasing a new album, Away, on September 9 via ATO. Previously the band had shared the album’s first single, “Okkervil River R.I.P.” Now the song has a video. Okkervil River frontman Will Sheff directed the video himself and it stars actor Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother Where Art Thou?, Lincoln). Nelson plays a priest at a funeral, with Sheff as the corpse, singing in his coffin. Watch it below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
