Releasing one of the best electronic records of the year with his latest LP R Plus Seven, Daniel Lopatin, a.k.a. Oneohtrix Point Never, has premiered an extremely minimalist music video for the included cut “Boring Angel.” Developed by John Michael Boling, the accompanying visual attempts to communicate the music’s digital atmosphere in a very modern way, using nothing more than a series of changing emoticons.
