This week saw the debut episode of Culinary Beats, a new web series by Yahoo that brings together a music artist and chef to share the techniques behind their art. For its first foray in combining ears and tastebuds, the show featured Passion Pit‘s Michael Angelakos and his friend Nick Anderer - the executive chef of NYC’s Gramercy Park Hotel restaurant Maialino. After sharing some insight in the making of Gossamer‘s “Take A Walk” and eating some of Anderer’s mouthwatering food, Angelakos closed things out with an acoustic performance of the hit single.
