To Air on CBS All Access Streaming Service in Early 2020

Patrick Stewart
Patrick Stewart is returning to his iconic Star Trek role as Jean Luc Picard in the upcoming TV series, the fittingly titled Star Trek: Picard, and now the first full trailer has been shared, fresh from its premiere at Comic-Con. It follows a teaser shared back in May. It promises some familiar faces from Star Trek, including Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine and Brent Spiner as either Data or his brother B-4. The trailer says the show is scheduled to air exclusively on CBS All Access streaming service in early 2020. Watch it below.
Stewart played Picard on all seven seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994) and in four subsequent Star Trek movies, ending with 2002’s Star Trek: Nemesis. “All Good Things…,” the series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation, included a 25-year flash forward that featured an older Picard retired at a family vineyard in France and that seems to be at play in the teaser trailer.
Alex Kurtzman and Akiva Goldsman, who worked on Star Trek: Discovery, are executive producers, as is Pulitzer Prize winning author Michael Chabon. The show also stars Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Evan Evagora, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, and Isa Briones.
Our writer Steve King recently sang the praises of Star Trek: Discovery and you can read that article here.
