Self-Destruct Sequence

Pixies
Recently releasing EP-1, the band’s first piece of new music in over 22 years, the Pixies have premiered a brand new music video for the included track “What Goes Boom.” While the visual’s majestic shots of a canyon landscape seems a little strange juxtaposed against the song’s thrashing aggression, things eventually make a little more sense when guitarist Joey Santiago wanders into frame, only to self-destruct in a liquidy explosion three-quarters of the way through.
