Watch Radiohead’s Thom Yorke Perform at His Neighbor’s Garden Party
A Moon Shaped Pool Out Now Digitally
Jun 13, 2016
Radiohead
Thom Yorke of Radiohead stopped by a garden party yesterday hosted by his neighbor in Oxford, England and performed an acoustic set that included Radiohead tracks “Desert Island Disk,” “No Surprises,” “Street Spirit (Fade Out),” “Reckoner,” and “I Might Be Wrong.” Below is a partial video of him doing “Reckoner.” The party may have been in honor of the Queen’s 90th birthday, although Yorke doesn’t seem like someone who would support the monarchy. A Reddit user posted a text from his dad saying that “Tom Yorke of Radiohead” (note the misspelled name) was playing.
Also, Radiohead recently digitally released their new album, A Moon Shaped Pool, and every Friday they’ve been sharing to their Instagram account a new video vignette by a different visual artist, each inspired by a separate song on the album. Last Friday’s installment was directed by Weirdcore and inspired by “Glass Eyes.” Watch that below too.
