Watch Ryan Adams Perform Taylor Swift Cover “Welcome to New York” on “Kimmel”
First Night of Kimmel's One-Week New York Residency (Plus Watch Adams Interview Swift)
Oct 20, 2015
Ryan Adams
This week Jimmy Kimmel has moved his Los Angeles-based late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live to New York City for a one-week residency. Fittingly, his first musical guest of the week was Ryan Adams covering Taylor Swift’s “Welcome to New York.” If you remember, Adams recently covered Swift’s megahit most recent album, 2014’s 1989, in its entirety. Check out the performance below. Also, yesterday GQ posted a video where Adams interviewed Swift in conjunction with the magazine’s cover story on Swift. They discuss the iPhone app Siri, songs that come from dreams, The Smiths, and John Hughes movies. Watch that below too.
