Watch: Savages - “Shut Up” Video
A Mission Statement
Apr 18, 2013 Savages
London-based punk rockers Savages have let loose a new music video featuring “Shut Up,” a track taken off the band’s forthcoming debut full-length Silence Yourself. Directed by Giorgio Testi during a live concert performance, the clip starts off with frontwoman Jehnny Beth reciting the mission statement found printed on the cover of the album. The artistic sincerity of the manifesto and aggressive follow-through of the performance make for a rather compelling pairing. Click below to watch. Silence Yourself arrives May 7 in the U.S. and May 6 in the UK on Matador.
