Promoting the release of their third album Volume 3 last week, She & Him‘s Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward stopped by the set of Dave Letterman’s Late Show to perform their single “Never Wanted Your Love.” Joined by seven backing musicians, which gave the late night host a bit of fodder to poke fun at the “duo,” the pair breezed through their amiable AM pop with Ward relinquishing the spotlight completely on Deschanel, looking lovely as always with a tambourine shaker. I have seen Zooey Deschanel sang on her movie 500 days of summer and thought she was really good, i never knew she had a band.
