Last night UK program Later… with Jools Holland welcomed both St. Vincent and Damon Albarn for an evening of televised music. Supporting last year’s critic-topping Strange Mercy, Ms. Annie Clark performed “Cruel,” while Albarn, providing a little promotion for his Dr. Dee opera soundtrack, performed “Apple Carts.” Albarn took a few additional moments to sit down for a brief interview.
