Watch St. Vincent and David Byrne Perform Each Other’s Songs
Live in Minneapolis
Sep 17, 2012 David Byrne and St. Vincent
Supporting the release of their collaborative LP Love This Giant, St. Vincent and David Byrne kicked off an extensive North American and Australian tour this past weekend in Minneapolis. While the duo dutifully performed plenty of material from the joint record, the odd musical couple gave fans quite the live treat when they took turns sitting in on each other’s respective catalogs, with Annie Clark contributing to Talking Heads’ “This Must Be The Place” and “Burning Down the House,” and Byrne taking on “Cruel.” You can watch a bit of footage courtetsy of some those in attendance down below.

I wouldn’t really call that David Byrne taking on “Cruel” in really any capacity but “Cruel” with a horn section is amazing.
