Recently announcing the release of his very own holiday box set, Silver & Gold: Songs for Christmas, Vols 6-10, Sufjan Stevens has premiered a dementedly twisted music video for one of its included tracks “Mr. Frosty Man.” Created by Lee Hardcastle, this claymation short depicts a happy family under attack by a raging zombie horde. Playing the part of the family’s avenging hero is their recently finished snowman, who in true “Evil Dead” fashion arms himself with a shotgun and chainsaw to dispatch the undead. Gory and certainly not suitable for impressionable young children, it’s pretty awesome. Click below to watch.
