At Annual Tibet House Benefit Concert

Turns out New Order and Iggy Pop wasn’t the only star collaboration at last night’s Tibet House Benefit Concert. Carnegie Hall also played host to The National, who were joined on stage by long-term collaborator Sufjan Stevens. Stevens provided backing vocals on “Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks” and “This Is The Last Time”, and piano “I Need My Girl”. Composer, arranger and Bedroom Community co-founder Nico Muhly set up shop on the piano bench for “Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks” and “This Is The Last Time”. Check out video from the performance below.
