Tanlines have released a video for “Palace,” another track from their new album, Highlights (out now via True Panther). Alex Karpovsky (who plays Ray on HBO’s Girls and has also directed feature films) directed the video. He also acts in the video along with Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black, Slums of Beverly Hills), Leo Fitzpatrick (Kids), Ben Sinclair (High Maintenance), and both members of Tanlines (Eric Emm and Jesse Cohen).

Emm and Lyonne playing a couple on the rocks. Karpovsky’s part is less clear, but at one point a bunch of women (ex-lovers it seems) team up to throw a live toaster in the bath with him! The video is part of Highlights’ fairly inventive promotional campaign that has included a Netflix parody website and the band streaming the album to fans via a conference call. You can watch it below via Urban Outfitters, who helped produce the video, followed by the band’s tour dates.
