The Black Keys have always had a great sense of humor, whether in the music videos or on their frequent visits to The Colbert Report. Last night Pat Carney and Dan Auerbach returned to Colbert’s satirical political program for a rather unexpected guest appearance. In an effort to compete with the Today show’s recent on-air prostate exam of Matt Lauer and Al Roker, Colbert held his own mocking “November Sweeps Prostacular,” bringing out not only The Black Keys, but John Lithgow and Katie Couric to argue for the chance to stick their finger up his butt.
