Watch: The Black Keys Play “Colbert”
Explain the Mistaken Significance of El Camino

The Black Keys
The combination of The Black Keys and Stephen Colbert has a history of providing good television. Providing some more quality programming, Dan Auerbach and Pat Carney revisited The Colbert Report last night to promote their new album El Camino. While the performances of singles “Lonely Boy” and “Gold on the Ceiling” were excellent as always, it was the Keys’ interview with Colbert’s narcissistic alter-ego that provided the best moments from the band, as their awkwardness set up some great improvised opportunities for Colbert to get a laugh. Check out the interview as well as the two performances in the clips below. El Camino is out now.
