Watch The Breeders Perform a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR
All Nerve Out Now via 4AD

The Breeders
The Breeders released a new album, All Nerve, last month via 4AD. All Nerve is the band’s first album in a decade and the first to feature the band’s classic lineup since their beloved 1993 album, Last Splash. Now the band have stopped by NPR’s offices to perform three songs as a Tiny Desk Concert. For the uninitiated, Tiny Desk Concerts are stripped down sets recorded at the desk of Bob Boilen, the host of NPR’s All Songs Considered. They performed two songs from All Nerve, “MetaGoth” and title track “All Nerve.” Then they did “Off You” from their 2002 album Title TK. Watch the performance below, followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.
Last year The Breeders shared their first new song in eight years, “Wait in the Car,” which was the first song to feature the classic lineup since Last Splash and is included on All Nerve. Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs, and Jim Macpherson reunited in 2013 for some shows honoring the 20th anniversary of Last Splash. All Nerve was recorded in various locations: at Candyland, Dayton, Kentucky, with Mike Montgomery; Electrical Audio, Chicago, with Steve Albini and Greg Norman; and with Tom Rastikis at Fernwood Studios, Dayton, Ohio. Chris Bigg did the artwork (he has worked with the band since their first album, 1990’s Pod).
Previously The Breeder’s also shared the new album’s title track, “All Nerve,” as well as “Nervous Mary.” Courtney Barnett sings backing vocals on one track, “Howl at the Summit.”
