Britpop and Madchester survivors The Charlatans released a new album, Different Days, back in May via BMG. The band have previously shared the album’s first single, “Plastic Machinery,” which features the legendary guitarist of The Smiths, Johnny Marr, along with Brian Jonestown Massacre frontman Anton Newcombe, as well as a video for the song and a remix of the song by fellow countrymen Sleaford Mods. Now the band has shared a video for the album’s title track, “Different Days.” It features shots of the band on tour, as well as frontman Tim Burgess at a photo-shoot. Watch it below.
Different Days is The Charlatans’ thirteenth album. It was co-produced by Jim Spencer at the band’s studio in Cheshire, England. As well as Marr and Newcombe, the album also features Paul Weller, crime writer Ian Rankin, and writer/actress Sharon Horgan.
