Black Mirror, Netflix’s acclaimed science fiction anthology series created by Charlie Brooker, is returning on June 5 for its fifth season and the first trailer has been shared. The new season stars Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, Pom Klementieff, Topher Grace, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport, Ludi Lin, and others. Watch the trailer below.
The season only consists of three episodes (the same as the first two seasons, although the last two had six episodes each) and follows last December’s Bandersnatch interactive film special. As usual, the show seems to tackle our obsession with technology, including Siri and video games. At some point during the trailer the words “love,” “privacy,” “sex,” “work,” and “afterlife” flash up on the screen.
