Yesterday The Flaming Lips announced a new album, Oczy Mlody, which is due out January 13, 2017 via Warner Bros. The first single, “The Castle,” was shared at midnight on streaming sites and now the song has a video. The whole video is a shot of a blond haired woman with various colorful images superimposed on her. It’s all very Flaming Lips and you can watch it below.

The band have also announced some tour dates, which are also below, along with two videos in which frontman Wayne Coyne explains the album’s title.

The Flaming Lips’ last proper album, not including 2014’s Beatles tribute With a Little Help from My Fwends, was 2013’s dark and oppressive The Terror. Let’s see what Wayne Coyne and co. have come up with this time.
