The Flaming Lips released a new album, Oczy Mlody, in January via Warner Bros. Previously we were treated to videos for “The Castle,” “How??,” and “Nidgy Nie (Never No),” as well as the audio for “Sunrise (Eyes of the Young)” and “We a Family” (which features frequent collaborator Miley Cyrus). Last night the band stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform “There Should Be Unicorns.” In typical Flaming Lips fashion they put on a bit of a show, with frontman Wayne Coyne singing while riding a unicorn and flanked by some astronauts. The Flaming Lips’ last proper album, not including 2014’s Beatles tribute With a Little Help from My Fwends, was 2013’s dark and oppressive The Terror.
