Watch: The Flaming Lips Star in Multiple “Funny or Die” April Fools Videos
Featuring Fred Armisen and Jon Daly

The Flaming Lips
Yesterday The Flaming Lips digitally released Flaming Side of the Moon, an “immersive companion piece” designed to be simultaneously played alongside Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon or the 1939 classic motion picture The Wizard of Oz. Having a little fun on April Fool’s Day, Wayne Coyne and co. have shared a number of self-parodying video sketches through Funny or Die, one featuring Fred Armisen as a potential replacement lead singer, and a spoof movie trailer for a Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots adaptation.
On a more serious note, the band has also shared a 43-minute video capturing a studio session performance of Flaming Side Of The Moon.
