In the music video for “Quick!” the latest single off The Magnetic Fields’ latest album Love at the Bottom of the Sea, two human relatives of Oscar the Grouch find themselves making a romantic connection from their respective trashcan dwellings. Directed by James Spinney (finding out he’s somehow related to longtime Oscar puppeteer Caroll Spinney would be an amazing), the clip transforms the Shirley Simms-sung track about a broken relationship into something rather sweet.
