Continuing their celebration of Leonard Cohen’s latest LP Old Ideas, Columbia Records have offered up another entry to their Old Ideas with New Friends video series. This time around The Mountain Goats’ John Darnielle sits up to a piano to play a bar lounge rendition of “The Smokey Life” from Cohen’s 1979 album Recent Songs. The Mountain Goats’ 15th full-length Transcendental Youth is scheduled for release later this year. Cick here to watch. (CoS)
