Last night, promoting the release of their brand new LP Beat the Champ, The Mountain Goats were welcomed as the musical guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers. In addition to playing their new track “Foreign Object,” which frontman John Darnielle later joked about on Twitter, the band also performed “Pigs That Ran Straightaway Into the Water, Triumph Of,” taken off their 2004 record We Shall All Be Healed.
