The Roots and Bilal recorded “It Ain’t Fair” for the soundtrack to the recent Kathryn Bigelow film Detroit, about the riot in the city in 1967. Now The Roots and Bilal have stopped by NPR’s offices to perform “It Ain’t Fair” as a Tiny Desk Concert. For the uninitiated, Tiny Desk Concerts are stripped down sets recorded at the desk of Bob Boilen, the host of NPR’s All Songs Considered. Watch the performance below.
