Watch: Tom Waits Performs New Song on “Letterman”
Says Goodbye To Longtime Host with New Song "Take One Last Look"

Last night Tom Waits was welcomed as the musical guest on the Late Show with David Letterman. With only a few shows left before the longtime host says goodbye to his post, Letterman was treated to a brand new song by Waits, appropriately titled, “Take One Last Look,” with Waits saying, “This one’s for you, Dave,” before playing.
Before his performance Waits also sat down for an interview with Letterman, who had found himself handcuffed to guest George Clooney (a gag by the actor to make him stay just a little longer). Dating back to 1983, this was Waits’ tenth appearances on Letterman. The Late Show‘s last broadcast will take place next week on Wednesday, May 20.
