Watch: Trailer for Special “Doctor Who” Anniversary Episode “The Day of the Doctor”

On Saturday, Nov. 23, BBC will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its famed sci-fi series Doctor Who with an epic, feature-length episode. While the plot for the highly-anticipated special, titled “The Day of The Doctor,” has been closely guarded, a trailer for the televised event has surfaced online, showcasing the storied history of The Doctor, his incarnations, and his many adventures. Click below to watch. “The Day of The Doctor” will star Matt Smith and David Tennant, who played the 11th and 10th incarnations of the Doctor, respectively. Fan favorite traveling companion Rose Tyler, played by Billie Piper also returns.
