Watch: Trailer for The Stone Roses Documentary “Made of Stone”
Out June 5 In the UK
Apr 16, 2013
The Stone Roses
Last year influential Britpop band The Stone Roses reunited for the first time in over 15 years with a trio of live performances in their home of Manchester. Capturing the band’s bombshell announcement, their rehearsals, and inevitable shows at Heaton Park in front of 220,000 fans was director Shane Meadows. This June Meadows will release his new documentary The Stone Roses: Made of Stone. Capturing the band’s unexpected resurrection and featuring never-before-seen archival footage from the band’s storied past, the upcoming feature will see release on June 5 throughout the UK. Down below you can see the newly premiered trailer for the film. While no stateside release date has been given, the documentary will hopefully find its way to U.S. audiences relatively soon.
