Danish electronic producer Trentemøller (aka Anders Trentemøller) is releasing his new album, Fixion, on September 16 via In My Room. Previously he had shared a video for “River in Me,” which features the vocals of Jehnny Beth, vocalist for British four-piece Savages. Now he has shared a video for “Redefine,” which features the vocals of regular Trentemøller collaborator Marie Fisker. It’s a NSFW affair that features supermarket nudity. Åsa Riton and Andreas Emenius directed the clip, which you can watch below.

Emenius had this to say about the video in a press release: “Shot in Copenhagen the video captures a random meeting between a boy and a girl, set in an uncanny supermarket amongst washing powder, peanut butter and Dolphin cereals. A destructive love story between a girl and her prey, involving a text message gone wrong, naked shoppers, eggs and money rain.”

Trentemøller had this to say about working with Fisker: “Marie has such a powerful and unique voice that’s my music quite naturally. I had her in mind as soon as I started writing. She ended up singing on four of the songs so she’s definitely the voice that kind of leads you through the album. Having toured so extensively with Marie, we’ve come to understand each other’s capacities and that really pushes us to challenge and inspire each other. I reckon that’s the driving force behind our songwriting.”

Trentemøller has three U.S. shows planned for this fall: New York City’s Le Poisson Rouge on September 26 and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery on September 28 (sold out) and September 29.
