Watch: Twin Peaks - “Holding Roses” Animated Video
Down In Heaven Out Now via Grand Jury

Twin Peaks
Twin Peaks (the band, not the iconic David Lynch TV show due to make a return in 2017) released their new album, Down In Heaven, back in May via Grand Jury. Now they have shared an animated video for “Holding Roses.” Longtime friend and collaborator Goons directed the clip, which features animated creations of the band’s real life experiences. The camera continually moves and zooms in and out on cartoon representations with oversized red lips, including one of Conan O’Brien. Watch it below, followed by some newly announced tour dates.
Goons had this to say about the video in a press release: “This video features the band in a crazy, crazy world, zooming from place to place always revealing the bigger (or smaller) picture. For source images I drew the band in as I found them online and combined them with my own creations of fans to make a wild butterfly effect of interconnectedness to reflect how fast Twin Peaks’ music travels. In the end, we see that it has all come from one dude’s perspective. Maybe that is the spirit of the band: the older rocker dude looking back and enjoying the crazy ride.”
Twin Peaks recorded the album in the living room of a good friend’s house in Western Massachusetts, near a lake, in the summer of 2015. The album was co-produced by R. Andrew Humphrey and mixed by John Agnello. The album is the follow-up to 2014’s Wild Onion.
