Villagers
Irish band Villagers announced that they are taking a break from touring, but have released a new video for “Cecelia & Her Selfhood.”
Via press release, the band describes the animated video directed by Adrien Merigeau as a film that “charts the development of a young man as he navigates his way through an impressionistic landscape in search of an elusive monster which is intent on destroying his childhood home. Lost and confused for the most part, he nonetheless uncovers the beast; a creature whose origins are both terrifying and liberating.”
You can also download an MP3 of “Cecelia & Her Selfhood” for the price of an email address over at the band’s website.
