Yesterday Weezer, Green Day, and Fall Out Boy announced they are all teaming up for THE HELLA MEGA TOUR, a joint tour next summer sponsored by Harley Davidson. They all shared new songs and Weezer and Green Day announced new albums. Weezer’s new album is titled Van Weezer and it’s due out May 15, 2020 via Crush/Atlantic. Its first single is titled “The End of the Game” and last night the band stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform it. Watch it below, followed by the dates of THE HELLA MEGA TOUR.
And all three bands performed last night at the Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles and Green Day and Fall Out Boy will be performing their new songs on Jimmy Kimmel Live! later this week.
Weezer have released two albums this year: covers album Weezer (The Teal Album) in January and originals album Weezer (The Black Album) in March.
Green Day’s new album is titled Father of All… (aka Father of All Motherfuckers) and is due out February 7, 2020 on Reprise/Warner Records. It’s the follow-up to 2016’s Revolution Radio. They shared the album’s title track, “Father of All…”
Fall Out Boy’s new song is “Dear Future Self (Hands Up)” and it features Wyclef Jean. It’s taken from their new greatest hits album, Greatest Hits: Believers Never Die - Volume Two, which is due out November 15 via Island and follows 2009’s Believers Never Die - Greatest Hits. The band’s last two releases were January 2018’s full-length Mania and August 2018’s Lake Effect Kid EP.
