This past weekend Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler showed up at a karaoke bar in the Little Tokyo area of Los Angeles and performed the band’s “Intervention” (from 2007’s Neon Bible). Instagram user wickytaylor was on hand to capture video of part of the performance. Watch it below, via Stereogum.

I never have heard such a beautiful cover in a long time. They have covered the song so beautifully without losing the soul of the song and it is so hard to find such covers these days.
