We Were Promised Jetpacks Announce New Fall U.S. and European Tour Dates
Band Sign to New Label in Europe, Share Tour Teaser Video
Jul 10, 2018 We Were Promised Jetpacks
Scotland’s We Were Promised Jetpacks have announced a slew of new U.S. and European tour dates. The U.S. dates go down this September and October and include dates on both coasts and in between. The band have also announced that they have signed to a new label in Europe, Big Scary Monsters, but in America their next album will be self-released. Tickets go on sale this Friday, July 13 via the band’s website. Check out all the dates below, followed by a teaser video for the tour.
The band’s last full-length was 2014’s Unraveling. A press release lays out what the band has been up to since then: “Having spent ten years almost consistently writing and touring, it was time to decamp home to Scotland and take a breath. They reverted back to their original four members and dealt with several behind the scenes changes. They celebrated a few marriages and tried to remember who they were when not on the road. Now the acclaimed group have returned with a teaser video and are ready to embark on their first huge headline tour in a number of years.”
