Weezer are releasing a new album, Pacific Daydream, on October 27 via Crush Music/Atlantic. Now they have shared another song from it, “Beach Boys,” via an animated visual. The song is Rivers Cuomo’s tribute to the classic 1960s band. Listen and watch below followed by the band’s upcoming tour dates.

Back in March Weezer released a new song, “Feels Like Summer,” which is also on the album. That was followed by “Mexican Fender,” which was shared via a visual featuring a seagull obsessed with a woman in a bathing suit on the beach. Butch Walker produced Pacific Daydream. Weezer’s last album, Weezer (aka The White Album), came out in 2016. The new album, their eleventh, was initially intended to be the band’s The Black Album until the band realized it was a sunnier record. A press release says the songs are “reveries from a beach at the end of the world.”

Frontman Rivers Cuomo said in a press release that this Chinese proverb inspired the design behind the entire record: “Once upon a time, I, Chuang Chou, dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was Chou. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man.”
