Whitney (Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek) have shared a mysterious new video entitled “FTA.” It features new music, but it’s unclear if it’s a full-on new song. It’s mostly instrumental and only two-and-a-half minutes long, with the phrase “forever turned around” repeated towards the end, which must be what “FTA” stands for. The video mainly features abstract images, with only quick shots of the band. Perhaps it’s a teaser for new music, a new album, or their upcoming tour dates? Watch it below, followed by their tour dates.

Whitney released their excellent debut album, Light Upon the Lake, in 2016 via Secretly Canadian. Last month they announced some new fall U.S. tour dates on top of their previously announced dates. A previous press release said that the Chicago-based duo would be performing music from their yet-to-be-announced sophomore album, which it said will be released later this year via Secretly Canadian.
