Wilco
Wilco surprise-released a free album, Star Wars, on July 16 last year. To celebrate its one-year anniversary last week the band has shared a brand new song, “Locator.” It was assumed to be a one-off song, but it turns out it’s from a brand new Wilco album amusingly entitled Schmilco. It’s due out September 9 via dBpm. If you preorder the album you get a free download of another new song, “If Ever I Was a Child,” which you can also stream below if you have Spotify. Below also is the album’s tracklist and above is its fun cover art by Joan Cornellà.
