Tonight, The Office welcomes Ricky Gervais, whose character David Brent will bridge the gap between The British Office and American version. However, he is not the only comedian waiting in the wings. Word came today that Steve Carell pall Will Ferrell is slated to appear on not one, not two, not three, but four episodes of the NBC comedy. His presence as an inappropriate branch manager will help usher out Carell and usher in whatever is next for the series’ final season. No word yet on the airdates.
